“As the owner of Vintage Adventurer Pty Ltd I rally around the world but this last trip was my 80th Birthday Bash and my wife and friends jetted out to Birdsville from the Gold Coast and then chopper to Poeppel Corner where we had lunch. After returning to Birdsville from Betoota the next day we jetted back to the Gold Coast and this time I flew back instead of driving for 2 days and the land crew drove all the vehicles home. Released from Covid quarantine in Adelaide on Christmas afternoon, I was in Perth four hours later on Christmas night and got to wish my wife, daughter, son-in-law and grand daughter happy Christmas in person (albeit late at night).
